Executive Operations
The Executive Operations division is comprised of the following units:
- Data Management and Research
- Engineering and Construction
- Georgia Correctional Industries
- Information Technology
- Legal Services
- Legislative Affairs
- Professional Development
- Professional Standards
- Public Affairs
The Office of Professional Standards, Legal Services, Public Affairs, Office of Professional Development, and Data Management and Research report directly to the Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Corrections. In addition, the Legislative Liaison reports directly to the Commissioner.
The Chief of Staff oversees the daily operations of Engineering and Construction Services, Georgia Correctional Industries and the Office of Information Technology.
