FORSYTH, Ga. – The Dougherty County Superior Court has ordered the execution of convicted murderer Marcus Ray Johnson. The court ordered the Georgia Department of Corrections to carry out the execution on a date between November 19 – November 26, 2015. Commissioner Homer Bryson has set the date for Thursday, November 19, at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson at 7 p.m.

Johnson was convicted in 1998 for the murder of Angela Sizemore. If executed, Johnson will be the 36th inmate put to death by lethal injection.
