Peer Success Coaching

Peer Success Coaching is one-on-one personalized assistance, open to cadets attending the Georgia Department of Corrections Basic Correctional Officer Training Academy. A Peer Success Coach helps cadets identify their academic and career strengths to reach their full potential while working with the agency. Peer Success Coaches provide guidance on study skills, time management, stress management, support in career exploration and job readiness. Peer Success Coaches are experienced P.O.S.T certified officers that provide guidance, support, and mentorship to future officers undergoing training. Peer Success Coaches help cadets navigate challenges, set goals, develop skills, and overcome obstacles that may hinder their academic success.
