MISSION:

Provide housing for state and county offenders and a general labor force supporting Floyd County Government.

HOUSING:

Eight dormitories with 56 beds and one dorm with 40 beds, 9 isolation beds, 9 segregation beds and 8 beds in sick bay.

WORK DETAILS:

Provides labor for Floyd County Public Works, Rome/Floyd Recreation Authority, Animal Control, Recycling, Police, Courthouse, Airport, Georgia State Patrol and two contract details to the City of Rome.

DIRECTIONS:

Take I-75N to Exit 290 in Cartersville. Follow signs to Hwy 41 to Rome. Go about three miles to Hwy 41 and then approximately 25 miles to Darlington Drive, exit and turn left at first stop sign. At the second stop sign, turn right onto Darlington Drive. Go to end of Darlington drive and turn left onto Cave Spring Street. Go ??? block and turn right onto Park Road. Go to the end and turn left onto Black Bluff Road. The first building in the complex is the Floyd County Prison.
