Contraband Arrest at Georgia State Prison

As of July 2010, The GDC Office of Professional Standards, in conjunction with local & federal law enforcement partners, have investigated or arrested approximately 1305 staff and civilians for introducing contraband into prisons throughout the state.

On October 16 at Georgia State Prison, Probationer Aaron Crockett was arrested after a Canine unit found the following contraband: twenty-two small bundles that contained one roll of black tape and approximately 19.7 ounces of loose tobacco.
