MISSION:

Assist residents in making successful transitions back into the community by providing therapeutic counseling and social & employment skills. Lee Arrendale State Prison is host facility.

HOUSING:

One building consisting of double capacity cells.

WORK DETAILS:

Provides work release throughout the Habersham and Hall County areas.

PROGRAMS:

  • Academic: General Education Diploma, Driving Under The Influence School
  • Counseling: Alcoholics Anonymous/Narcotics Anonymous, Re-Entry, Thinking For A Change, Family Violence, Job Readiness, Health Education, Moral Recognition Therapy, Motivation For Change, Work Ready Assessment
  • Recreation: General Recreation, Physical Health
  • Religious Activities: Various Worship Services, Bible Study, Pastoral Counseling

DIRECTIONS:

Take I-85N to I-985N, take the Gainesville & Lake Lanier exit. I-985 will change to Hwy 365 at Exit #24 just north of Gainesville. Continue on Hwy 365 through three traffic lights. After going through the third light, travel approximately eight miles and watch for the Habersham County sign. Travel one mile past that sign to mile marker 38. A green "Lee Arrendale State Prison" sign will be on the right. Turn right onto Mt. Zion Road. Continue straight at the four- way stop. At the dead end by the fire station, turn left and Lee Arrendale State Prison is on the left, the TC is located inside the prison.
